Dressing for work can be such a chore sometimes. You want to look nice...but it's just for work. And it needs to be appropriate. And comfortable. And you don't really have the time in the morning to put together that outfit that says "Hey, I'm stylish! Look!". Some days I'm happy if my outfit says "I'm clean, no little noses or hands have grubbied me up yet!". As a bare minimum I hope that nothing clashes and hopefully everything kinda sorta matches.
This blouse is a favourite. I bought it at Target last year. It is one of those items that every time you wear it people comment on how nice it is. The pants are standard issue Country Road work pants, similar to
these.
